As part of the Master Next Level Engineering program, I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to a project that merges engineering innovation with social impact. Our team collaborated to design and develop the FrameRunner Ice Skates, a specialized solution that allows children with disabilities to experience the joy of ice skating.
The FrameRunner is not just an adaptive tool; it’s a bridge to inclusion. By focusing on stability, safety, and ease of use, we created a product that opens the door to a sport many thought was out of reach. Seeing children glide across the ice with confidence and smiles reminded me why we engineer—not just for function but to make a difference.
Working on this project taught me the importance of interdisciplinary teamwork and user-centered design. It was more than just a technical challenge; it was about understanding the real needs of the users and ensuring our solution truly made an impact. I’m proud to have been part of a project that embodies the power of engineering to improve lives.
